Fun facts:
- With the games starting to take shape, there are a lot of huge changes here. We have two teams jump multiple spots, one team takes a plunge, and a tiny shakeup at the bottom.
- Green Bay tumbles all the way from third to sixth in this week's rankings. This no doubt had a lot to do with a poor loss to Cal State Fullerton rather than the close loss to tournament host Nevada.
- Milwaukee's victory over Davidson, possibly the best Horizon League victory to date, vaulted them to the fourth spot.
- The separation between four and six was narrow; Milwaukee only finished eleven points ahead of Green Bay.
- We have our first tie of the year, with Youngstown State and Detroit each pulling in 66 points. The Penguins also were the third team to receive first-place votes, with victories on the road over George Washington and Georgia giving them a big boost.
- Valpo lost one of their first-place voters this week after a disappointing loss at Nebraska. It'll be interesting to see if they can hold onto the top spot while Bobby Capobianco recovers from injury.
- UIC switched places with Loyola. No doubt a good showing at New Mexico opened some eyes, and holding Mercer - a D-I team - to 36 points was a big accomplishment. There are no easy outs in this conference.
