Please pray for our former basketball chaplain Fr. William Kelly SJ

Many of you fellow posters know our previous basketball chaplain, Fr. William Kelly, S.J., who is now at the Jesuit retirement center at Camillus in Wauwatosa. Please pray for him. Yesterday when Fr. Kelly was looking at the construction site for a new Jesuit building on the Camillus campus, he fell and broke both his wrists. Because of this he is quite helpless. Those of you who know Fr. Kelly know how fiercely independent a person he is. This helpless condition is a huge cross for him to bear.

 Thanks much,
 JohnnyRev

That is so sad to hear Johnny Rev, thanks for posting. The fact that it happened while he was checking out the new construction site says a lot about him, just no stopping him.

Prayers go out to "Fr. Bon Apetite".

Yes, terrific link, CaribouJim. To me it adds to the sadness of his current injuries and consequent helpless state to see his vigorous presence as chaplain in the video.
