There are two ways to take that.

1 - Madison didn't offer because SH was beneath them and that is why he went to lowly Marquette.

2 - A slap in the face to SH and his family that MAdison didn't spend much time recruiting him. SH is going to be fired up for the games in early December when he has a chance to exact his revenge on the snub. Many area fans of SH and his family are upset as well and are becoming MU fans now.

I guess which viewpoint you have depends on your fandom.

Interesting viewpoints Fletch.

This state, outside of Southeastern Wisconsin, has long been Bucky territory and the majority of the fans in those parts seem to be Bucky fans.
With Buzz, and even moreso with Wojo, MU is attracting more kids from outside of the city that were often a lock for UW.

As Fletch pointed out, with kids from around the state coming to MU, hopefully that will bring a new group of MU fans as well.

While you need to recruit from more than just the state to maintain success, it will be fun to see so many kids from across the state at MU.
