I expected a big east title contender...just like the opposing coaches did. This team has looked far from it

I'm disappointed too but being a true fan (p.s.I'm not questioning you're fandom, I know you) means sticking by the guys through the up's and the down's. I support these guys through it all so I get so pissed when the diehards on this board bash the guys when they are struggling. Thats what the fair weather fans do!

So I should just be happy with everything because it happened that way?

Still really like this team, and think were two games better then our current record. Much closer to being really good then the pollyannas want to admit, but need to trust in themselves against good teams. Similar to 2010-2011, and hopefully this team does not have a Louisville collapse to mentally overcome. Disappointed in the sense that we're not getting a good seed in NCAA's, but optimistic that this team puts together a strong run of play and is hell to play in February and March.

Next season doesn't hold any more promise. The frontcourt, especially, will be challenged...to say the least.

You are still high This team isn't getting any NCAA seed unless they win the conference tournament. I would like to point out that this is not being a bad fan, but a realistic one. I have supported the team since I was ten years old, and continue to through thick and thin. Won't stop me from saying how I feel though. Why do you feel this team is two games better than their current record. That is just ridiculous! It's not like they are losing on buzzer beaters.

I'm optimistic that Buzz will figure things out (despite the tone of my posts). The one BIG, BIG, BIG difference is the lack of opportunities for big wins.

I'm not spoiled. I have been watching them and supporting them since 1972, through the good and the bad. It is called realism!

To say I don't support them is entirely off base from reality. I cheer just as hard as the rest of you during games.

Yes this team will, take their lumps and I realize that. I am not expecting perfection. When there are things that I feel could/should be changed I will point them out. Again, just because I don't support 100% of Buzz's decisions (not playing JJJ/DB more) does not mean that I am ungrateful or spoiled.

Anybody on these boards is a big fan. I just get frustrated when people turn into assholes when the guys struggle.

And yes, this is a spoiled fan base. Every team - even the blue bloods - have hiccups. I'm not throwing in the towel yet but its not looking promising.
