MU 13th in Attendance

MU basketball finishes 13th in the country with average attendance of 15,138. I know many colleges don't even hold that many for games, but this continues to be a very impressive stat.

Something that also caught my eye was this "The consistent performance by Marquette fans can be attributed in part to the team’s student support. Approximately half of the undergraduate population at MU purchases season tickets on an annual basis."

I think the focusing on getting the students engaged and interested in the team and games started with Tom Crean.
Hopefully we can keep this rolling.

Marquette has been in the top 25 in attendance for probably 80% of the years from 1970-2012 and that might be a low percentage. Outside of the Bob Dukiet and latter years of Mike Deane, Marquette has been in the top 25 consistently and that's very impressive for a private school.
