That's a very interesting change.

It will affect school all-time scoring, rebounding, and assist records, given that in each game there will be more time to accumulate all three.

And with added floor time there will be more substituting one way or another, since on average starters will be fouling out more frequently.

This will affect events like Mark Miller's WBY Shootout which was already cramped if there were OTs.
