Just because every one else is doing stained lanes? Meh, still ugly.

I like stained lanes, was just pointing out they are becoming common. Blue lanes would make the floor too blue. I think there's enough yellow as it is. Only alternative in my eyes would be no color in the lane. That would look good too. I like this though. Just enough color but not over the top.

To each his own. The blah stained color just makes it harder to police the 3 second call. I prefer solid colors in the lane. Again, the stain looks like something from the 50s. Yuck.

I can't believe anybody thinks that's ugly?! The stained lanes are very slick (and becoming quite common nowadays). Sidelines with a hint of stripes is just right. Much better font. I think its awesome. MUCH better than the current floor (I dislike the gold border currently).

If they decided to stain the sidelines in the process, I would agree with you. But with the painted sidelines, it looks like you are trying to do too much.

I'm with you. I love that floor.

Edit: Actually, without the stained lane, I think it would look too plain. It's all a matter of preference...
