    Reseating Time

Got my notice today, I pick Saturday, June 6 at 4:41 pm.

Hoping to move downstairs this year after 6 years upstairs. Looking at the light blue sections, I think my first choices would be between 203, 211, 217, 218, and 219. Anyone have any advice on those sections? Heard 218 is fun.

I know in the yellow section on the seating map there are many seats for fans to pick from for season tickets.

I know a small handfull who have season tickets in the light blue area. I have not heard anything bad about that area.
    March Madness starts in November

Brew: Thanks for your contributions to this board and the premium board. Long time reader and first time poster here. When you select, I would think that there will be no seats (singles, perhaps) in 203, 211, and 217. Very limited as well in 218 and 219. I get to select my two seats at 12:56 p.m. also on June 6, and am hoping for seats in 209/205 (mirror sections), with an outside shot at getting something in 210/204.

I disagree. I select around the same time as you and am expecting easy access to those sections as there was last year.

When in doubt, go with the Fightin' 218--unless you have an aversion to Caribou Jim's renditions of show tunes.

The Fightin' 218's ban on show tunes is actually a rolling 5 year contractual prohibition. This way current recruits will know the ban is in place for their entire career. Rumor has it Henry Ellenson was impressed with that long term commitment by the Fightin' 218, but we cannot confirm the rumor.

There was also a tecent attempt to ban any and all of Caribou's Lil Monarchs stories but he threatened to leave, taking his cadre of leggy supermodels. The proposal was then voted down - we do have priorities in the Fightin' 218 after all.

I've been waiting decades, literally, to seamlessly use the word "cadre" in a real sentence. I'm not familiar with the word "tecent" though. Lastly, it is "L'il" not "Lil"

"tecent"? Damn. Hizzoner is gonna hafta fire someone over that typo. But Hizzoner shall stay with the recent version of Lil just to piss off the domesticated arctic heard animal.
