...on front page of USA Today yesterday - Tyler's new job at MU mentioned. Alzheimers is a bitch.

My mom passed away nearly a year ago. The last 4 or 5 years of her life, she had Alzheimers (actually, they call it Dementia until death, and then Alzeheimers - not sure why). Had some cute stories from it, as she knew it and maintained her sense of humor about it. That said, it was a b!tch seeing a strong and proud woman struggle with her memory. We were fortunate to keep her out in her own home. I credit my brothers, sisters and other relatives (as she lived in Green Bay and we live in Madison) for doing this for her.

All I can say is I wish the Summit's the best. It is difficult and frustrating to witness. My prayers to them, and anyone who deals with this awful disease.
