Butler 39 Seton Hall 37, 14:04 left on FSN.
    March Madness starts in November

Fun game to watch, and St. John's just folded down the stretch. Give K credit for going to zone, and putting both Plumlee and Okafor out there together. Plumlee's size neutralized Pointer at the rim, and the Johnnies could not hit enough shots to get Duke out of their zone. They need Harrison to get right again, as there is not enough consistent offense on the team and especially on the perimeter with him struggling like this.

Great PR for Marquette to have Wojo in the FOX studio.

Butler up big 74-52 on Seton Hall.

Bus ride for Seton Hall to Marquette. Butler doesn't play again untill Saturday at Marquette.

Butler, Georgetown and Providence should be ranked come Monday.

This looks to be the first separation point in conference play between the top 4 (Nova, G-Town, Providence, Butler), the bubble three (Seton Hall, St. John's, and Xavier), feisty two that are not NCAA threats (DePaul, Marquette), and the cellar dweller. The key for the Big East getting maximum bids will be the bubble teams holding the home court against the top four and getting as many remaining wins as possible against the bottom tier teams. DePaul's wins over Hall, Johnnies, and Xavier could all come back to cost them on Selection Sunday.

Edit: I do not believe that Providence and Butler are that much better on the court then the three bubble teams, but they both have far superior non-conference resumes and key wins away from home.

I think Butler can be a Final Four team.

I know it's a little tongue in cheek, but they could be a team that does some damage in the tournament with the right draw. They have enough outside shooting, a reliable mid-range guy in Jones, and a great brand of defense. Four of their top five are upperclassmen and they have a decent bench. Everyone will have expectations for 'Nova, and rightly so as they're virtually the same team that earned a 2-seed last year, but Butler has the right makeup to be the team that gets hot and makes noise in March.

I actually love Georgetown's roster for a March run. They can play at any tempo, score the ball at all levels, and are generally solid defensively. One danger is if both Hopkins and Smith get in foul trouble, and I think JTIII ought to put Copeland in the starting line-up instead of Hopkins because of that.

Agreed. Hoyas played at a much faster pace yesterday than I can remember.
