According to at least one man's tweet, Trent Lockett to Marquette is a done deal.
@dhookstead: "Trent Lockett is headed to Marquette University. This is official and final. Huge get for Marquette."
No idea who he is, but would be great news if true. Perfect replacement for DJO and would help a great deal in terms of the scoring load. Though with 2012 SG Mislav Brzoja visiting campus this week, I'm guessing that news on the transfer front isn't yet done.

Cautiously optimistic. One thing that hasn't been mentioned as far as proximity to Minnesota is that, even though Iowa State is a shorter drive than Milwaukee, it has to be easier to get a quick, relatively cheap flight to Minneapolis out of Milwaukee than Ames.

With Ames people fly in and out of Des Moines, which is only about 30-35 miles.

Des Moines Airport is south of the city. It would take longer than 30 minutes to get to Ames, which is about 30 miles north of Des Moines. I doubt, though, that will be what factors into his decision.
