    OT - Looney and UCLA

Milwaukee native Kevon Looney had 16 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks in UCLA's loss to Oklahoma today.

Looney is averaging 14.8 points and 12 boards per game. Double / double in all games but his first, when he had 9 boards.

Having never seen him play until today, I didn't realize that he was a post type of player. He has limited range and shot poorly from the FT line. Gifted athlete who can jump and is a great rebounder, but I thought he was being compared to Durant who is more of a perimeter type.

Would love to have him for sure.

Looney is the leading rebounder on the team. There have been several articles about him in the LA papers. He is going to be a terrific player for the Bruins.

Steve Alfords son, Bryce, is the leading scorer on the team. He has developed into a heck of a player.
