Also takes time to negotiate buyouts etc etc.

Wow, UWM and MU both are led by the men's basketball team (with Men's soccer a close second). And both programs needs ADs that understand that and support those teams as much as possible. The idea that this guy managed to get himself resigned due to "management style" is unbelievable to me. Dude, your survival is dependent on success and attitude within those two sports, if they aren't happy and performing well, get your resume together.
It will be interesting to see how things play out. I'm sure it will be mishandled by the university, as usual.
