Henschel will not return as women’s soccer coach

Milwaukee Panthers women’s soccer coach Greg Henschel’s contract will not be renewed, Milwaukee’s Director of Athletics Amanda Braun announced on Tuesday morning. Are you surprised? Who do you want to see take over?

I was surprised and then I saw the team's record this year. Wow. 6-10 at UWM?!

I'm not bothered by it. David Nikolic was the obvious choice three different times - when we hired Jon Coleman and then Chris Whalley to be head men's coach, and when Michael left for Northwestern.

Amanda Braun has proven that she is a winning AD in my eyes. If she doesn't hire David Nikolic, I'll be surprised.

Totally agree with you Jimmy. David Nikolic is an excellent recruiter and knowns what it takes to win. If he does get the job, I am sure the upperclassman will be happy since he recruited them.
