Read this article in the Sun-Times yesterday and although this isn't necessarily a ranking of Illinois players, it did jump out to me the Charles Matthews, ex-MU recruit and future UK Wildcat, was this author's 6th man. One reader agreed I guess.
The Sun-Times has been a big fan of Brunson for going on 2-years, but not much buzz on Matthews. Seems like his stock has fallen. Doesn't seem like the stereotypical hyper-highly rated UK recruit.

Matthews did drop quite a bit. He was top-15 when he committed. Must have had a poor summer showing.

According to his high school coach, he played injured during the summer before sitting out few tournaments.
