Ughh...cmon. Marquette is a Big East program. We shouldn't be making gimmick hires.

More than one Big East coach has been on the job since they were in their 20s. This past year, Georgetown didn't have a head coach after Brown stepped down in October and wasn't replaced. Tyler may be too young, but this is hardly a sport that is under the same scrutiny the men's game is, and it's not like there'd be a ton of media attention if a 20-something coach failed at a middle-of-the-road Big East program.

Big East was 7th in RPI in women's basketball... Hardly a power conference.

The should look at the former Duke coach who just took the assistant's job for the Sparks (although she was getting $1.25 million at Texas before she quit because of burnout) or the Maryland assistant or maybe the Bowling Green coach. Jabir has things going at Dayton. Would he come back?
