A classic example of the impact of one player

What impact would Vander Blue have on the Marquette 13-14 season?

Example: Kiefer Sykes, the Horizon League Player of the Year, pretty much played on one leg against UWM in the conference tournament. The Nix just were not the same and lost in OT. Tonight in the first round of the NIT and Sykes can't play because of that injury. NBA prospect, Alec Brown isn't the same player without Sykes creating space and the entire Green Bay team is out of sync without their top scorer and assist man.

To the Nix credit they never gave up in a loss to Belmont. (a team with 4, 40% plus, three point shooters)

Congrats to Drew Windler (who JSonline had as Drew Winkler in the article last night) and Belmont on the win.
Drew, who had 15 in the win, has been a regular at the Scion Dental Pro Am.
Drew is a real good kid (even though he may complain about a few calls - ha).
