Jamil has the physical tools to be next in line. But the question is whether or not Jamil possesses the quality the article mentioned both Butler and Crowder possess - being "gritty."
Personally, I don't think that trait can be taught or developed. A player either has it or he doesn't. Jae and Jimmy had/have it.
