Thread: Asu - 6.5

    Asu - 6.5

Interesting line---appears even Vegas is jumping off Marq. That seems like too many points, but I always bet the opposite of what seems too obvious so if I had to I would take ASU laying the points (which means Marq will win by 20 given my betting history). Hope I'm wrong.

ASU at home, betting line seems correct.

I don't see any reason we should be favored tonight. I'm not saying we will lose, but first we are on the road, and second nothing we have done in our first few games has indicated we are a good team. Now hopefully tonight is the night things begin to come together. Arizona St. isnt a great team, but they are a solid opponent.

Arizona State won at UNLV, plus they are at home. They should be the favorite.

I'm not suggesting that ASU should not be the favorite...of course they should be favored. The spread just seemed a little high at first glance. I wouldve expected it to be closer to 2-3 points, not 6.5. But like I said I'd lay the points and take ASU.

If the spread is 2 or 3 points, everyone would bet ASU. The line is made to keep the betting 50/50.

I will be surprised if we lose by single digits.

OMG you're killing me smalls, I realize how Vegas creates their lines and why they put it at certain numbers. All I'm saying is I was surprised by it.
