    Start calling the Big 10 the B1G, and what does it mean?

    This year with the addition of Nebraska. They want to stay away from the number "10" and the word "ten" without going away from the brand of the conference, so B1G is their new logo, as opposed to BigTen with the number 11 they had hidden in between the g-T-e.

    Just a play on words / concepts. Big 10 is the conferences "trademark", but it now has 12 teams. So the new logo represents te trademark with interplay between the the word BIG using a 1 for an i and a G for the number 0..... Looks silly and it is silly. Guess the Legends and Leaders have bought into the concept.
