Vander Blue at Summer League

Watched Memphis game online last night. Modest stat line for Blue but a very nice highlight baseline "throw-down." Announcers were interviewing the managing partner of the Memphis Grizzlies when the play occurred and they went on to discuss Vander Blue and how he comes from the long line of great MU guards. It is amazing to think what Marquette's reputation is today. All through summer league, different games, different announcers, MU getting praise: "MU toughness", "Another MU player", "From MU, know they can play", "Long line of great MU guards." Another national championship is the goal, but to think of the reputation of MU today versus the time span of the late 90's.
