First Weekend Averages

Compiled the two game averages to get a good read on how our boys performed from a statistical perspective. Really quite remarkable we made it out of the weekend considering our opponents out-shot us from an eFG% perspective 50% to 42%.

Our saving grace was our +5 Off Rebs/game giving us +5 FGA/game on the weekend and shooting an outstanding 83% (thank you Blue 12-12) from the line to make 11 more FTs than our opponents.

Another interesting fact I found is that, even given all of our subs and deep bench play, the bench played nearly 15 less minutes than our season average and contributed 12% less of the overall team scoring. Needless to say, going 11 deep definitely bucks the trend of constricting your rotation in march...

The 12% less scoring is because Blue is scoring more and he's playing a lot more minutes. Mayo has not played well in the few minutes he's getting and I don't see that changing any time soon.
