Local players in the NCAA tournament....

Ben Steele put together a list of local players in the NCAA tournament. Of the players he listed, 5 have appeared in the Scion Dental Milwaukee Summer Pro-Am.

Here is an article on McKinney Jones. Sounds like an impressive kid.

Wouldn't McKinney Jones make seven?? Or is that what you meant when you listed Jamil twice.

EDIT: And what about Kwamain Mitchell?

Sorry, did not mean to list Jamil twice, meant to add Jake Thomas.

McKinney Jones spent the summer at Miami, Mitchell spent his summers in St Louis. Just the same way that MU players spend the summers in Milwaukee. We usually get mid-majors as some of those programs don't require the players to stay over the summer (likely don't want to pay summer tuition & housing), but the bigger the program, the more likely they will be at their school over the summer.

    Ah OK...that makes sense.
