Georgetown 5th, Pitt 6th and MU 7th. Louisville was picked 1st.

I can't complain too much if JTIII gets the award, but I think Buzz is just as deserving.

Buzz will go off that it's all about the players. Still, year in and year out EVERYONE undervalues what we have and seems shocked at the end of the year when we have success well in excess of earlier predictions. That's no accident, that's the measure of the program that Buzz built. TC was a terrific coach for us but we had up years and down years. With Buzz, we have consistency that we've never had before. Clearly, Buzz does not have to own a state to make things work. He simply has to execute his plan to assemble a team and coach up his players. It seems to have worked every time he's tried while at MU. For all that, he deserves much more credit and recognition from the basketball community.

Buzz deserved at least a share of COY. Though if you asked Buzz, he would prefer to have a share of the Big East Title (team award) over COY award. Let's keep making noise MU!

Agree, should be a co-winner, but oh well. I think as Junior's "dad" he has to take more pride in him winning the sportsmanship award than any personal award.

What's the opposite of Coach of the Year Award? Because Stan Heath should win it. Woof!
