    That is a great article. Need more of that in the future and the stigma of the old BE may be gone. It would be huge for the new league if MU and Georgetown met in the finals on Saturday night.

    Bob Ryan complementary to the new Big East on Sports Reporters yesterday morning. The same Bob Ryan BTW who said MU would never smell another FF back in '03. He's right, thus far I guess, but wouldn't count on it.

    Great comments by Bob Ryan. Seriously, UCONN should just drop football, nobody other than the University itself pays any attention to it. I guess UCONN would be the best example of how it is all about $$$.

    I have a friend who is a UCONN grad that was apoplectic that Edsall would leave to coach Maryland. He thought that UCONN was a high major BCS school and Maryland was a HUGE step down. I think they do not understand the importance (or lack thereof) of their own program.
