Smallest Enrollment Schools Ever to Make it to #1

I got this link off the Holy Cross meesage board. Pretty neat. Lots of Jesuit/Catholic schools made the top 20 with Marquette at #14 and Holy Cross at #1.

I can't remember where i read this as there have been so many articles written about the Big East in the last few days, but one of them mentioned that Holy Cross was invited to join the Big East with the orginal cast back in 1979, AND TURNED IT DOWN.

This those people are kicking themselves today....?
