I don't understand how Pitino left TOs in his pockets at the end of regulation and two of the OTs. Especially when you have Russ Smith handling the ball...who isn't exactly known for his solid decision making.

Did Notre Dame have better depth? Home court was a key but I think the Irish had more game ready bodies. I'm not talking about injuries but players who were ready for meaningful minutes because they took practice seriously.
