As one commenter put it, she is probably afraid she'll have to give Miami its money back now.

Wow... And we thought Tim Maymon was a nut, this lady sounds real crazy... It's pretty clear that someone from Miami influenced her in $ome way. That being said hiring a lawyer? I'm pretty sure that once the kid is 18 he can do whatever he would like, so if he chooses to go to Arkansas can she legally do anything to stop him? I'd find it real hard to imagine that she will get very far with this one...
As long as she has Jackie Childs as her attorney, she should be set.

My thought is the kid is better off going away from home.
I guess the Mom is not going to get the payday she was expecting.
After reading that if I'm Miami I tell the Mom that we aren't taking him no matter what so she should just let it go.
Who would want a kid who clearly doesn't want to come to your school?
Saw in the paper today that the actor who played Jacke Childs is a huge Packer fan and friend of Donald Driver. Apparently his dad roomed with Bob Jeter in college.
