Really wish Marquette had pulled the trigger and offered Paul Jesperson. Buzz was very close to doing just that when Jesperson committed to Virginia. He's a very solid player.

Jesperson is a good kid, and the family handled his recruitment the right way, and needed to make the move they did at that time. Wait a little longer for MU, and if Buzz decided not to offer, the UVA offer may have been gone. Pretty wild situation for him, they decide he should redshirt, then a couple of guys transfer and he is home on Christmas break, gets a call to come back as they were lifting the redshirt.

Mark - what level is his younger brother (David?) is capable of playing at if at all?

I would say at this point David Jesperson is a DII prospect. But he has time to maybe move up a bit and become a DI prospect.
