Anyone Notice Duquesne Beat West Virginia Last Night?

Nice win for A-10 Duquense over the Big 12 West Virginia Honey-Boo-boos last night. Perhaps, Duquense should be at least considered for a spot in an expanded Big East basketball only school conference. The Dukes drew 6200 for the game. Just sayin'

Things are not well in Hillbilly Heaven these days as their move to the Big 12 has been disappointing from a perfomance perspective for both football and basketball, so far.

I really like that. During the football season I saw a Big XII gameday preview where it listed Huntington as having had some overnight rain. That was followed by, "I hope they covered their couches last night."

Nothing against Duquesne, but I'd have them pretty far down on my list. They are in a decent market and have a decent team, but compared to the names being bandied about, I'd much rather go after the Xaviers, Butlers, Gonzagas, and VCUs of the world before we settled on Duquesne.

Agree, Brew. They are down on the list. However, I do think they are better and may have more potential than some teams I have heard mentioned.

I watched it live on CBS Sports Network.

In his last game he went scoreless in 26 minutes for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the NBDL. (He's been out of school for two years.)
