    Sandy - OT

Ok, I know this is OT, but Mike Singer was the young/just-out-of-college reporter that covered MU for CBS online last year. Well, Mike posted the following picture on Facebook yesterday of his sister's house in Brick, NJ. Thought you would like it. Yep - shark.

    "Candygram." Old SNL reference.

Wow...I used to date a girl that lived about 10 minutes from Brick. She moved back to Jersey a couple years ago, hope they're doing okay.

Ted - that is a classic.

Great picture. Thanks for posting IWB.

Hope all of our east coast friends are getting through Sandy ok. Sounds like it is still going to be a tough road.

I came back to WI on Thursday to do some bow hunting and to the Packer game Sunday. I was supposed to fly back to DC Monday morning...I'm now on a flight Wednesday night.

Sounds like where I live in Northern Va got spared. Can't imagine what it must be like in NYC/NJ.

Go - My sister lives in Vienna - sounds like they had a lot of rain and high winds, but no real damage.

Good to know. I live in Arlington and we apparently didnt even lose power. Really lucky.

My folks out east lost power...fingers crossed that in 9 months I'll have a little brother.

I am the middle of Sandy territory, just outside of NYC in Queens. We are fine, but 90 % of Long Island (900k customers), NJ (1.2 million customers), Connecticut (900k customers)and a major part of NYC (750k customers) are without power. Keep in mind 1 customer is 1 household. This unfortunately was the PERFECT STORM, with very little rain, but hugh coastal storm at high tide, full moon.
No mass transit, bridges/tunnels and roads opened early this afternoon. Schools are closed, Wall Street opens tomorrow. Estimated cost: $ 50 BILLION

Jim, showed this picture to a work colleague and he said that this pic has been labeled FAKE - he saw it yesterday. There are multiple fake shark sightings I guess. He did go to IU though so what does he know.
