    I like the sound of the following line from the article.

    "Elite programs like Kansas, Louisville, Texas, Marquette Virginia, Wake Forest and UCLA, among others, have all extended scholarship offers to the center."

    I guess I didn't realize that Virginia and Wake Forest were still considered Elite.

    Recent NCAA activity...
    Kansas:--------23 consecutive NCAA tourney appearances, 2 Final Fours in last 5 years.
    Louisville:------ 6 consecutive NCAA tourney appearances, 1 Final Four and 2 Elite Eights in last 5 years.
    Texas:---------14 consecutive NCAA tourney appearances, 1 Elite Eight in last 5 years.
    Marquette:------7 consecutive NCAA tourney appearances, Back to back Sweet 16s.
    UCLA:-----------3 NCAA tourney appearance in last 5 years, one Elite Eight.
    Wake Forest:---2 NCAA appearances in last 5 years.
    Virginia:--------1 NCAA tourney appearance in last 5 years.

    You can't argue with UCLA's history, and Virginia has the history too, but really haven't done much recently. Let's take it further and look at the last 20+ years.

    Virginia
    2010s: 1 Tourney appearance
    2000s: 2 Tourney appearances
    1990s: 6 Tourney appearances, 1 Elite 8 (1995), 1 Sweet 16 (1993)

    Wake Forest
    2010s: 1 Tourney appearance
    2000s: 6 Tourney appearances, 1 Sweet 16 (2004)
    1990s: 7 Tourney appearances, 1 Elite 8 (1996), 2 Sweet 16s (1993, 1995)
