Tom Diener's Hamilton High School team played in Chicago at Gordon tech High School in the "Conference Challenge Classic", where they beat Mundelein 75-68. Harv & Roy Schmidt were there, and were very impressed with Kevon Looney.

Jim - Is Kevon one of those guys who is going to blow up so big that he will be forced to go to a KY, Duke or UNC type program?
Very well could be. The kid is very talented, has a lot of length for his position, and playing for Tim Diener, should remain pretty well grounded.

I think playing for Diener will really help him prepare for college. Not sure that Diener will let a kid like Looney do whatever he wants. Still need to play the game the right way. I sure hope MU can keep this Looney at home. Get Looney and follow that with a kid like Diamond Stone, now that would be off the charts, especially since both are local.
Diener's nephew did quite well at MU! Maybe Tom can steer him our way
