If game one is any indication, this Giannis / Lilliard combination is going to be a lot of fun to watch.
The fact that Giannis let Lillard take over down the stretch shows a lot about our star players. Giannis is truly one of a kind.

Despite last night's anomaly from Lillard (has to still be getting acclimated to a new environment), I think long run this is going to work really well. No Middleton last night, but will play tonight. Need him to have a healthy year and be that strong, 3rd option. Middleton is great off the ball (catch-and-shoot or attacking off a ball reversal), which fits perfectly with Giannis and Dame predominantly having the ball in their hands.

Crowder was never himself last season, need him back to his Finals 2021 form with Phoenix. Have to feel good about what can be expected from Lopez, Portis, Connaughton, Beasley. Beauchamp is a wild card. Giannis needs to be a 65-70%+ free throw shooter (8-10 last night) and continue developing his back-to-the-basket post moves, touch in the lane and a free throw line, baseline jumper. Can't dunk everything.
