I sure hope this doesn't end up with a cancellation.
Hopefully they play about 4 games each, then move on to the playoffs.
This is the Bucks season to win it all, I'd hate to have such a great season go without a chance in the playoffs.

Adam Silver's letter yesterday said the goal is to resume the season at some point (a minimum 30-day suspension). I hope progress can be made with COVID-19 in the next 30-60 days (testing, containment, more knowledge). I mentioned on the premium board, NBA has some flexibility. Current playoff timeline is Mid-April to the 2nd or 3rd week in June (depending on if the Finals is a sweep or a 7-game series). This is the time of year where the regular season starts to get draining anyway and load management is being implemented.
A possible mid-May to mid-July playoff schedule would be fine with me. There isn't much shifting in the standings (especially in the East) and enough of the regular season has been played (65 games) to legitimize the current standings. I would be tempted to forego the rest of the regular season or at least minimize the games remaining. There will be complaints in the West about home-court advantage, but it is what it is. Would suck if there was no basketball from now until next October. I am more optimistic about the NBA than I was the NCAA.
Problem with the Bucks is they can't use the Fiserv in July due to the DNC. That's why I hope they keep the playoff schedule, and just restrict the regular season games.
No need for much more regular season games, as MUFAN indicated, the playoff teams are basically set and all but 17 games of the season have been played.
For the DNC it is not just those days. I'm sure they will need a week in advance to secure and prepare the facility and the area for the convention.
Love seeing this from Middleton and Giannis. Many NBA players are doing the same thing for their respective franchises.

Reports that mid-to-late June is earliest the NBA would resume.

NBA would like to crown a champion by Labor Day. I would imagine that makes Christmas Day, as mentioned, a strong possibility for the start of the 20-21 season.

Good article on how Giannis is utilized with the Bucks. Man, I will be like a kid on Christmas if/when they announce the restart of the season.
