    NBA Awards

Monday night at 8pm on TNT. Hopefully Giannis wins his first MVP award. I think he deserves it, would be quite an accomplishment at age 24.

Giannis also 1 of 3 finalists for Defensive POY. Budenholzer 1 of 3 finalists for Coach of the Year.

Good night for the Bucks organization and hopefully what is to come in the future. Giannis wins MVP, Budenholzer Coach of the Year and Jon Horst Executive of the Year.

Giannis winning his first MVP at age 24, puts him in a unique class.

Giannis received 78 of 101 first place votes. Ended up not being close. Nice hearing Giannis talk about a championship next (with a little motivation from Kobe).

Doc did have a great season, and like was said in SI, he really didn't have a star. I can just imagine if they would add Kawhi to that team, and some other pieces.
Would make the East pretty easy, and make the West real interesting, especially in LA.

Reports Houston and Philly working on a sign and trade for Jimmy Butler. Would certainly help the Bucks path next season.

I heard that and the first thing I thought was how in the heck will a guy like Butler get along with a player like Harden. Kawhi goes to Clippers, Butler to Houston, who knows what is going on in Boston (addition by subtraction if they lose Kyrie) - the East just got pretty good for the Bucks.

Jimmy is certainly getting a reputation in the NBA circles - "doesn't play well with others". In any event, as skilled that he is I wouldn't want to play with Harden - "dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble, dribble, shoot".

When Harden gets the ball, the other four guys may as well just head back on defense. In fact, I'd love to see that just once - ha. NBA players respect Harden's game, but I just can't see them wanting to play with him. Jimmy needs a team where all put in the work to get better and play hard all the time. On such a team, Jimmy would be a great teammate.

Houston seems determined to acquire Butler. Not sure how badly Philly wants to do a sign and trade.
