Crowd impact special factor for Tuesday

I was worried about the Ducks game. Having home court against a young team like Oregon was a heck of an advantage. Up to this point the smallest arena the Ducks played in during the 2017-18 seated about 9,000. While the Golden Eagles played grown up basketball -- give an assist to the lacrosse team and the others that created a hostile environment for Oregon. Marquette needs even a higher level of rowdy intensity on Tuesday against Penn State.

"Get rowdy for Rowsey." Send the senior off in a special way for his final home game.

Yes, the crowd may be a factor but also, will MU see PSU pressing early and often?

Doubt it. Actually, MU attacked the press quite well yesterday until they got tired and in foul trouble. Bigger issue were the phantom fouls.

Wojo needs to use every available scholarship player to keep the team from wearing down.

The AL on game day reminds me of the cracker box that Marquette played in a number years back at Valparaiso University. A tough, tough environment when the crowd is active.http://www.valpoathletics.com/facilities/reccenter/

God, that place. My senior year, drove down with a group from MKE. They couldn't freaking miss, and it just got louder with each bomb from three.

    Thankfully, Dominic called game.

I was at that game too - sitting around the 2nd half MU foul line about 5 rows up and not too far from DJ's shot at the end of the game. High school environment with the bleachers etc.

Forget the bar we went to before and after the game - not too far from the arena - neat joint.

IWB and I drove down to that game. Extremely loud and intense game and awesome euphoric moment with Dominic at the end.

Hmmm, wonder why there is a bar reference in nearly every one of Caribou's posts. Remember, the first step is admitting you have a problem!
