Is Big East too Tough for its Own Good?

Interesting and positive article about the Big East, but don't agree with this part - "Some could reasonably argue there's enough quality in the league that you don't need to go out of conference for tough opponents, although most opt to test themselves in the non-conference portion of the season". A collective quality non-conference schedules are imperative on so many obvious levels.

In any event, the Big East 2.0 has exceeded my expectations - maybe not a sexy as the original version, but far, far from shabby and just about as competitive as any conference in the country.

The quality of the games from an entertainment perspective is just so good. Has far exceeded my expectations......rivalries are building.....games are high scoring and fast paced.

This Xavier PC game is just a war

X @ PC is quite a game. Good effort here on both sides.

PC prevails. Friars rpi goes from 59 to 42 while MU’s drops one to 52. Though MU does benefit from the location vector of Wednesday’s win over the Friars.
