I think it is down to five teams for three spots:

Kansas State, USC, Rhode Island, Syracuse, Illinois State

I think that these three, along with Wake Forest, will be in the first four. I think if URI wins however, Marquette gets thrown in a mix with Vanderbilt, Xavier, Michigan State and Providence for that last first four spot.

I think K-State and URI are in, personally. The other three are playing for one spot. While I understand Vandy being safely in the field, I think that 15 losses as an at-large should go to the First Four regardless. Not sure they will, but that's a lot of losses to get a bye.

Right now, I feel like there's two discussions going on. First, who is the last 1-seed? Villanova, Kansas, and Gonzaga seem safe, so does the last one go to UNC, Duke, or Arizona? I'd lean towards Duke. Second, who is on the bubble. The rational people have it down to 3-5 teams. Anyone saying it's more than that is just trying to drum up discussion. We're not on the bubble, none of the Big East teams are (Norlander said as much from a SC source yesterday).
