That is interesting. I would guess Middleton was part of that deal. If Westbrook would not agree to an extension, smart for the Bucks to back out. Frankly, Westbrook is very talented but I question his basketball IQ and shot selection. He will be an unrestricted free agent next summer if the Bucks still want to pursue him.
He is not likely to want to be in Milwaukee, I wouldn't be shocked if he heads to LA in the off season

Can't argue against the allure of major markets, but New York and LA's rosters right now leave a lot to be desired. I could see the Spurs, teaming up with Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge and Tony Parker.
