2016 Draft Day News and Rumors

First trade of the day, Thaddeus Young going to Indiana for the 20th pick overall and a future 2nd rounder. Pretty cheap for Young....does Brooklyn own their 2017 first round pick?

Bucks rumor, supposedly, the Middleton rumors to Boston are not dying, now Greg Monroe might be added to the package to Boston. Seems this is more about Boston pushing for Middleton, so if there is any deal, we should be getting a king's ransom.

Not sure trading Middleton and Monroe would be worth the 16 and 23 rd picks. Middleton and Monroe are established scorers in the league, and picks 16 and 23 are a crap shoot.
Now adding in our #10 pick and they add in their #3 pick might make it seem more reasonable.

Agreed, that's highway robbery and 16 and 23 for Middleton? Crazy.

The Celtics are really overrating this draft. Supposedly the Sixers want the 3 pick(Kris Dunn) and are dangling Okafor.

Outside of Simmons, maybe Ingram, can't see anything better than Middleton at this point. Now if the C's start whipping out their bank of future 1st rounders(ie the Nets 2018 first, the right to swap with the Nets in 2017)...Ainge is as pesky off the court as he was on it.

I think this is just Woeful being Woeful. I'm sorry, even for the third pick in the draft, I wouldn't trade Middleton. Middleton is better than whomever will be chosen there.

I think people need to be realistic about Monroe's worth at this point, everyone knows the Bucks desperately want to ditch him so we aren't going to come away with some impressive haul. I would take two late round picks for Monroe and you just hope one of the two pans out.

Since Monroe was a free agent, you really are not losing anything if you trade him. Try to get a servicable player for him.

But no way you give up Middleton just so someone takes Monroe off your hands.

I think Middleton is better than anyone outside of the top two in this draft, so I would not trade him at all.

Minnesota usually picks the wrong point guard....Rubio / Jonny Flynn> Steph Curry, now Dunn over Rubio.....Monroe out, Rubio in?

Sounds like the Bucks going to take a terrible reach for Thon Maker
