Rumor: Khris Middleton to BOS for #3

Rumor out there is the Bucks may trade Middleton for the #3 pick and a contract from Boston... If you ask me this is an awful idea... Anyone you get at #3 will be lucky to have the ceiling that Middleton currently has... Khris shoots the 3 and plays D and is perfect next to Giannis and Jabari... Trading him leaves you with holes at the 1,2, & 5 instead of just the 1&5... Why trade a known commodity for an unknown that you hope pans out to be as good as your known commodity.

I saw that rumor as well in several places. I would hate that trade.

Seeing that the Bucks sorely lack perimeter shooting, trading away your most consistent shooter/scorer would be surprising. Would it be to draft Buddy Hield? Poeltl or Dragan Bender? Poeltl has a chance to be there at #10, so why give up Middleton to get him. Might be all Danny Ainge with little interest from the Bucks side.

That is because this draft is not very good and there is a significant dropoff in talent after pick number 2

I saw Marc Stein tweeted that the Bucks has made Jabari & Khris unavailable... Smart move unless you get something really good in return... The guys they should be shopping are MCW & Monroe.

Would that be to use the pick, or to trade it to Philly or to trade it to the Bulls in a move to get Butler?

If the Bucks do trade I would think it would be for players not draft picks. They Bucks owners have seen enough 'building', they want to win. Trade for draft picks and you are just going to spend a few more years 'building' your team.

Jimmy is one of the few players I'd be okay with trading one of the "untouchables" for.
