    Former Tennis Coach Speaks Out

I think this is one of the most damning things about Amanda Braun. Greg Cromwell was fired as head tennis coach after the Panthers enjoyed their first Horizon League Championship ever, the Panthers beat UIC for the first time ever and had the highest team GPA on campus and 1000 score in the APR.

He was fired why? "Terminated. Non-renewal: Performance."

Yeah. Performance. After the best season in school history.

The victory and title over UIC in the 2013-14 season? It broke UIC's streak of 17 straight Horizon League Championships by the Flames.

Speaking of the Flames, you think the Green Bay women's basketball team has the strongest dynasty in conference history? Not only did the Flames' tennis team win every conference championship from 1996-97 to 2012-13, but they did not lose ONE SINGLE MATCH between losses on April 21st, 1996 and April 6th, 2013. They still won the 2013 championship and tournament title.

Then the next year? MILWAUKEE BEAT THEM. GREG CROMWELL COACHED THEM THERE.

But no. You're fired. Why? Performance.

    Was he Amanda's hire?
A panther is like a leopard. Except it hasn't been peppered.
Should you behold a panther crouch, prepare to say "ouch."
Better yet, if called by a panther...don't anther (Ogden Nash "The Panther")

Ceterum censo Amanda Braun debet esse accensa.

If she hired him, then he had the best year UWM ever had in year one and was fired after it, there has to be more to that termination than just "performance".

If there is, doesn't that beg the question, "did she falsify official documents?"

This is an incredible onion that keeps making me cry with each layer.

Maybe he just disagreed with her ... and as a result was liquidated.
