How in the world did the Nowitzki and Pat Garrity for Tractor Traylor not be #1?

True, Euro players were still an unknown, but many people knew of Nowitzki. Hell, Goose85 wouldn't shut up about him before that draft.

Garrity - 10 seasons in the NBA, averaged 7.3 pts and 2.6 rebounds per game. Not bad for a 10 year backup. He did have two great back-to-back seasons before suffering a knee injury that he never fully recovered from.

Nowitzki - Hall of Famer, don't need to look up his stats.

Tractor - He spent 7 seasons in the NBA, the rest of his career in Euro ball. He became a punchline because he was the "throw in" on so many trades. He averaged 4.8 pts and 3.7 rebs per game.

Ray Allen for a washed up Gary Payton and Desmond Mason. I liked Desmond Mason, but not for a 27-year-old Ray Allen. Credit certainly goes to George Karl on that one. That was the beginning of the end for George Karl in Milwaukee.
