The pollsters are giving the Big East some love at the top end.
Villanova AP #6 - Coaches #6
Xavier AP# 7 - Coaches #8
Providence AP# 10 - Coaches #10
The CBS poll has Villanova at #4, Xavier at #6 and Providence at #9.
RPI has Villanvoa at #2 and Xavier at #4. G
Hopefully these high rankings will hold, and bring pretty good NCAA seeds that will translate into some post season success for the Big East.

Butler's troubles have surprised me - still time to turn things around. Was figuring they would be one of the 4 BE locks for the a tourney bid. Creighton exceeding my expectations. Was expecting more from Georgetown and MU as well.

4 of Butler's 5 league losses have come to teams in the AP top-10. The other came to Creighton, who's been pretty good. I wouldn't worry about Butler, and they're still a lock for a tourney bid. 8-10 should be good enough to get them in.
