Butler fans really wanted him to replace Stevens when he left.
Been consistently keeping tabs on this team...looking like it's going to be an S.S.D.D. kind of season.
Almost makes you wonder if last year was some dream or illusion...or both.
Good news for the Arena! Sounds like talks to buy the Journal Communications building are in a stalemate.

Final: PANTHERS-65
UMKC-56
Another good night for McWhorter, Wichmann was big off the bench, and Tiby had a double-double. JJ was a beast defensively early on, as was Prahl.
Just...

Panthers cooled off in the second half, but manage to hold on and beat UL-Lafayette 56-52. And they actually made their free throws tonight. 20-25 from the line tonight.
McWhorter with a...
Panthers doing a bit better tonight. McWhorter having a game already with 4-5 shooting and 11 points, along with Justin 2-2 with 5 points. Not a lot of offense showing otherwise.

Very nice piece I thought by Don Walker.
Well, the Panthers have had a vastly improved second half, but the first half stunk too much for them to come back so far...
Sigh...It's like 2012-13 all over again...
The Panthers are being horrendously sloppy in keeping control of the ball. 9 turnovers and barely halfway through the first half...
And you know it's more mental then physical for them. These guys keep draining them with their eyes closed in practice...
I think teams now know how to beat the Panthers: Just keep having them shoot FTs. Almost makes me think last year's shooting at the line was an anomaly...Actually, it probably was.
And as a friend...

Well, at least it sounds like the Bucks are acknowledging and listening to us.
Which one? Do you remember the number at least?
Final: PANTHERS 75 Minn-Crookston 54
McWhorter: 17 pts, 6-10 shooting, 3-4 on threes, 7 rebounds
Tiby: 12 pts, 7-8 on FT, 7 rebounds
Panoske: 10 pts, 4-5 shooting, 5 rebounds
Wichmann: 10...
900 signatures! We're in the final stretch!
+2
I think/hope their FT shooting will improve. The fact they still shot 50% against Auburn was encouraging.
I want to see Tiby and JJ trying to attack in the paint more and going for layups....
Just looked over the stats again. It would've been a lot closer with the whole FT deal, but Akeem was 0-7 on 3's and a lot of those were in-and-outs. If 3 of those go in, it's a whole other ballgame.
It was a given that the refs were going to handcuff us as much as possible.
The positives I can give, at least for now:
Akeem is a budding phenom. Just so many good moves and shots he made last...
We blew it. No way I can sugar-coat this. We blew this game and I'm doing everything possible to keep the tattered remains of my sanity together.
Can't make a free-throw to save our lives... like...
Guess word's been really spreading now. Knocking on the door of 500 signatures for Jimmy's petition. Here's hoping we get that and more for the demonstration on Wednesday.
I do hope Amanda Braun helps urge everyone to stand for this. I know we have to do a lot of the heavy lifting, but this is serious now.
If nothing else, I want to see us give the Bucks' owners an...
Based on the comments on-where else?- JSOnline.
Because many are assuming the Bucks owners don't care/want any other teams to share the new arena with.
