NBA Summer Rosters - A Surprise

According to the NBA Summer League website, there are two ex-Marquette players on rosters. I am not surprised that Vander Blue is playing with San Antonio this summer. However, I am surpised that former NBA er Chris Crawford is playing with the Houston Rockets this summer at the age of 39:

I am going to guess that should be the Chris Crawford from Memphis.

Yeah, I'd be pretty surprised if that wasn't an error. Marquette's Chros Crawford hasn't played professionally since 2005.

I'm surprised that neither Jamil Wilson or Davante Gardner are on rosters while UWs Ben Brust is.

Unfortunately, this past senior year at Marquette definitely did not help either Jamil or Davante. I'd be surprised if either made it to the NBA.

I agree Johnny Rev, but after getting the MVP at Portsmouth, you would think Davante would at least get on a summer roster.

Probably most have seen that Davante will be playing on the Bulls summer league team. And heard this morning that Jamil Wilson will play on the Wizards summer league team. They at least now have a chance to showcase their skills. Good luck to both.
