So, with West Virginia on the Big XII football schedule, they won't be on the Big East basketball schedule - What will happen? How much will they owe? How much involvement does ESPN have in the whole deal? Should be none, but I bet they are playing the role of Tucker McElroy, "Lead Singer - Driving the Winnebego".
From reading other boards (both Houston and Boise State have a conference realignment forum) it sounds like the Big East is trying to get Boise to jump ship to the Big East next year to off set WVU. Some of the buyout for Boise leaving the MWC would come from the extra penalties that WVU would have to pay.
