"Basketball 7"

For those who didn't watch GTown stomp ND on the road, the announcers discussed conference realignment and specifically said Catholic 7, then "they prefer to be called the Basketball 7". I was glad to hear it! So going forward, lets all phase out the C7 references.

B7 sounds better than C7 as well.

I really never liked the religious connotation to the move. It was basketball driven, not due to faith. Glad to see the 7 recognize that and try to make the change.

Right, but there's still a lot of Catholic 7 references out there.

I like the ABA- Archdiocesan Basketball Association. Play with the red, white, and blue ball. The whole deal.

Butler is not a catholic school, nor is VCU, got to stay away from it
