Already excited about seeing the new faces this season.
"The white team was made up of Cheatham, Wilson, Sandy Cohen III, Henry Ellenson and Luke Fischer. "
Starters?
I project, having not seen any of the new guys play, that Carter, Wilson, JJJ, H Ellenson and Fischer are the starters.
If that is the starting lineup, I do think it will be interesting to see how the bench minutes develop with Cheatham, Cohen, W Ellenson, Heldt, Anim.
Plenty of PT up for grabs.
Is Rowsey going to be a 2/3 next season?
This would be my guess as well. Wilson, Ellenson and Fischer would seem to be the most certain to be starters. Also to keep in mind, some coaches (like Buzz) like balance between starters and the bench. In 2012-2013, Davante and Jamil came off the bench while arguably being 2 of our top 3 or 4 players.
He's no taller than 5'11". He's got a really good handle, very quick very good long range shooter but is able to penetrate(not necessarily finish). Almost automatic from the free throw line. When they were practicing free throws, I only saw one of his actually hit the rim. Everything else was pure. Really wish he was able to play this year, but I'm sure he will use this time to get physically stronger as that is his biggest weakness at the moment. Think next year he will certainly be able to help at the point but will always be an undersized wing. I have no doubt he will be a difference maker next season.
I don't even think in terms of starters any more. I think in terms of mpg. I anticipate the five guys with the most mpg will be, in order, Luke, Duane, Henry, JJ, and Traci.
I would say Duane will have more minutes than Luke as Luke has a propensity for foul issues.
I think we are going to see the rise of Duane Wilso this year and he is going to be the guy. Much of the hype will be going to Henry and some freshman, but I think Duane is going to start to show that he is the star of this team.
